CCOE have committed to growing local best practice, besides of joining hand with our L&D Department to provide skin and aesthetic knowledge reinforcement, they also perform regular audit of treatment execution, as well as post-treatment survey to monitor customers' response for overall experience and result satisfaction.
Support Without Compromise
CCOE also serves as emergency and crisis support for our customers in case complications or adverse events occur before, during, or after any treatment. They are the gatekeepers responsible for reviewing and establishing the criteria and conditions under which different treatments at varying energy levels can be performed to ensure the safety and well-being of our customers.

Extending Our Excellence in Research Study
Partnering with Candela, MEDILASE CCOE kicked off clinical research in 2020 on the laser hair removal efficiency conducted with the latest 755nm Alexandrite laser, comparing the result between using the exclusive 2ms pulse duration and the widely adopted 3ms one. After studying for over 24 months with the support of CCOE, L&D and Medical Consultant, the clinical study found and verified a 5% increment in greater hair reduction. This result was published in The PMFA Journal, issue of August/ September 2023, and greatly contributed to a better understanding of treatment parameter optimization and helping practitioners in the aesthetic industry to receive an updated guide for achieving optimal results.
Driving Industry Success
HBS sees the bigger picture and aspires to improve overall standards in our industry, not just within our organization. We were honored to be invited by HKU School of Professional and Continuing Education(HKU SPACE) and organized seminar and lecture in two consecutive years in 2023 and 2024 for their cohort certificate program of Medical Technologies for Aesthetics Application. The students are currently and potentially aesthetic practitioners with passion and it is essential for us to groom them with the best knowledge that we possess.
This lecture was given by our CEO, KC Ng, in HKU SPACE Admiralty Center. He taught a series of market and commerce of the current aesthetic and slimming categories, gave the students valuable entrepreneurial inspiration and ethics.
